Join us in praying for the work God is giving us around the world. Here are just a few requests (dated June 20, 2011):
PRAY FOR LUIS
Luis is leaving for France tomorrow. He has spent much time in preparation for this exciting opportunity and is truly looking forward to seeing what God will do. As always, he senses his total dependence upon God and so very much wants to be used of God in bringing the Good News to needy people. Pray that God will grant him safe travels, give him great physical and spiritual strength, and use him to His glory in France.

Please keep Andrew in your prayers as he finalizes the manuscript of his auto-biography "The Secret Life of a Fool. It is scheduled to be released next March!
PRAY FOR SACRAMENTO
Luis and Andrew had a great response in Sacramento. A large group attended a dinner and indicated strong interest in having a festival in that city. More than half of the funds needed for the festival are pledged so far. Nearly 400 local pastors attended an informational breakfast. Please pray for Sacramento and for our staff there. May God grant wisdom in putting together all of the pieces to bring about a great evangelistic effort there.
BLESS FRANCE THIS MONTH
As a reminder, Luis has declared June to be France’s Month of Blessing. He is heading for Marseille with great anticipation to see what God will do through all of the events of festival week. Here is a message directly from the folks on the ground in France:
The sense of anticipation among the local believers we meet is almost palpable. But there are still some serious challenges to contend with.
Communication between the different teams is much better then we experienced during our last visit in May, but there is room for improvement. The fundraising is moving along well but there is still a big gap between the budget and the money received. It will be a great day of praise and thanks when the budget is met!
There is clearly much more at stake here than the immediate goals of the festival. It is already a pivotal moment in inter-church relationships in Marseille, but we hope that God will also use it to inspire local believers to re-examine their attitudes about money and living a holistic life as a disciple of Jesus.
May God grant great blessing to France and throughout Europe as you pray.
