For more than 40 years the Luis Palau Association has played a unique role in shaping and encouraging the nation of Guatemala.
For more than 4 decades Luis has spoken into the lives of millions of Guatemalans on a daily basis through radio. In addition, several historic gatherings – including campaigns in 1972, ‘77, ‘82, ‘89, and ’94 – bolstered our team’s level of influence and impact, reaching hundreds of thousands of individuals with the Gospel and helping to set the nation on a new course.
But in a country with a median age of only 19 years, an entirely new generation is ready and waiting to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Building upon this foundation, Luis and the team have accepted an invitation from more than 3,000 local congregations to once again return to Guatemala and shake the nation with the life-changing message of the Gospel, this time bringing our new model for community change.
In an historic campaign for the nation of Guatemala, the Palau Association gathered together civic, corporate, and church leaders – all working hand-in-hand – to meet the needs of the community and to openly share the love of Jesus Christ at the two-day festival.
Tens of thousands of Christians were equipped to reach their communities, thousands of churches were challenged to step out in faith, and hundreds of ministries were encouraged in their endeavors to reach the entire area for Jesus Christ.
Let us PRAISE GOD for the thousands of individuals who gave their lives to the Lord through this campaign. With so many incredible opportunities to share the Good News we may never know how many were truly reached. But God knows.
