In 2004, the Palau Association was invited to Uganda by the Christian community for a wide-scale collaborative evangelistic endeavor. What came to be known as Arise Uganda brought hundreds of churches, thousands of believers, and 12 evangelists to saturate the entire nation with the Gospel. Since then, the partnership has not only continued, but grown considerably.
With the support of 650 pastors and more than 435 churches, the Palau Association has accepted the invitation to return once again to Uganda. We are planning one of the largest region-wide evangelistic campaigns in the history of this nation.
This campaign, focused on the capitol city of Kampala (population 3 million), is expected to solidify the relationship among churches, open new doors for collaboration, further train and equip local believers, and meet the continuing needs of the nation (both spiritually and physically).
